Description
Even though it was -27 with wind chill, we were determined to find Snowy Owls on the first day of February. We came across this one hunkering down in the field. It was so windy and cold, and there was so much blowing snow, I wasn't sure I would be able to focus on this beauty, but I persevered until I captured the owl the way I wanted. It flew off shortly after I captured this shot!
